ROBLOX's official blog started on November 19th, 2011 and LiveJournal were used to communicate with the community prior to the creation of the forums. The blog is still active but has been replaced by a Forum that is more conversational tone. The LiveJournal was shut down in October 2016, making ROBLOX one of few thirdparty sites without one.[12] In January 2017, ROBLOX launched their YouTube channel. The channel currently has about 1 minute and 38 seconds of uploads.

ROBLOX has also been criticized on another level. Many people have said that they will never use ROBLOX again after the lack of response from the administration team. This is because even after reporting rule breakings, there is still no action taken against the players who do so. This has caused people to lose respect for the administration team.
